TokenScout ("we", "us", "our") operates the website tokenscout.online. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.
Information We Do Not Collect
TokenScout does not require account registration. We do not collect:
- Name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Wallet addresses (contract addresses you scan are not linked to your identity)
- Payment information
- Location data beyond what is standard in web server logs
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our server may log standard technical information including IP addresses, browser type, referring URLs, and pages visited. This data is used only for security (rate limiting, abuse prevention) and is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Rate-limit counters keyed to IP addresses are stored temporarily and deleted automatically.
Cookies and Sessions
We use a temporary session cookie solely to protect form submissions against CSRF attacks. This cookie contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies ourselves; if you see third-party ads on the site, those providers may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies.
Third-Party Data Sources
When you scan a token, we send the contract address to the following external APIs to retrieve security data:
- GoPlus Security (gopluslabs.io)
- DexScreener (dexscreener.com)
- Honeypot.is (honeypot.is)
These services have their own privacy policies. Contract addresses are public blockchain data and are not personally identifiable.
Caching
Scan results are cached on our server for up to 60 minutes to improve performance. Cached data contains only token contract analysis results — no user data.
Children's Privacy
TokenScout is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
